Mary's Books

I have loved to read since I was little. I would borrow many books from the library and still borrow to this day, but I also purchase books (mostly for my kids) and freebies on Kindle. I read as much as I can daily. Sometimes I read several books at one time. I don't have a preference of paper book over an ebook, I just love to read. Keeping lists of what I have read is a good way for me to remember.

60 Quick Knits

60 Quick Knits: 20 Hats*20 Scarves*20 Mittens in Cascade 220 - Sixth&Spring Books, Sixth&Spring Books

Hats, Scarves, and MIttens. I have on my "To-Learn" list - mittens. I love looking at the patterns for hats and scarves as they can have so many different looks and be fun and colorful and they are fast. I have been cold-sheeping (no new yarn until a large amount of the old yarn is used up...more storage for the newer, prettier yarns coming out) and I decided that I would make a bunch of hats and scarves for homeless and kids who would go without (give to the schools and IHN). It isn't much, but this gave me some patterns to consider using while I make these hats and scarves, and patterns for the mittens so that I might get that skill accomplished, too.
